Silent Nights Still Exist

"Silent night, Holy night, All is calm, all is bright"...

~Joseph Mohr, 1816

One of my favorite gingerbread mugs holds the cinnamon coffee I'm sipping while waking up in the soft glow of Christmas.

Christmas is all about Jesus whether we acknowledge it or not!

I pray your eyes are opened to the beauty of the season of life you're in.  If you only know God and how much He loves you, you would know that wherever that place may be, He is also there.  Silence doesn't mean that God isn't at work in your own situation.  The ordinary stillness of the first Christmas night is so contrary to what was actually happening. Jesus, the King of Kings, was born in a stable, a barn.  God may surprise you with how your miracles take place, too!

Look to Jesus, and this time of year will be brighter in your own life!

Blessings,
Leslie

  4. I like to sit with the lights off and just the Christmas tree lit. It's quiet and calm. I have time to sit and meditate on the goodness of God.

I am having a birthday in three weeks and feel as if I am entering another season of my life. How good to know that God will be with me in this new part of my life just as He was in my past. What a wonderful Savior we have!
